Seeking a Baseball Coach to join our Coaching/Instructor staff! 

At Between the Lines Elite Sports Academy, a baseball/softball training academy, our goal is to prepare players to play

High School baseball and beyond. 

BTL, home of the “Hornets Baseball”, specializes and emphasizes the development of the “complete athlete.” 

Programs include year-round training in an indoor facility to include, but is not limited to hitting, pitching, throwing, catching, and fielding, camps, private lessons, strength/speed/agility programs, competitive leagues, and fostering skill development.

  • The Selected Coach will have a sincere interest in coaching and teaching baseball athletes, and game and practice preparation. 

  • The Selected Coach will have good communication skills, a positive and inspiring attitude, ability to manage in a positive way to develop each player as a person and an athlete, and is willing to work with teams ranging in ages from 8 to 18.  

  • The Selected Coach will be self-directed and self-motivated, work with integrity, and bring skills and abilities to help advance the program. 

  • The Selected Coach will have experience coaching with a competitive baseball program and/or playing experience beyond high school.  Education in Sports Management is helpful.  Pay will be based on experience and training.  Hours and workdays will vary.

Seeking a Part Time Facility Manager

  • Provide customer and administrative service to customers in-person and by telephone. Answer phones, maintain email and voicemail, collect payments, check-in customers with lessons, memberships, rentals, facility schedules, etc.)

  • Responsible for facility operations (open/close the facility; check and maintain ball machines/area; perform daily inspections to ensure the facility is presentable, organized, safe, and clean/sanitary; identify/resolve/report unsafe conditions; place service calls; address minor emergencies/injuries (e.g., dispense first aid supplies, contact emergency medial agencies); and perform light janitorial tasks.

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. Some work experience, along with demonstrated maturity and ability to make reasonable decisions. Position requires physical abilities to include, but not limited to: bending, twisting, squatting, stooping, reaching, climbing ladders, and using simple hand tools.

  • Work schedule varies, includes evening hours and daytime/evenings on weekends.

  • Work hours 20-30 hours per week.

  • Pay depends on experience and demonstrated ability.
